Waves, Sand & Books

Posted in Uncategorized by Stephen Stonestreet on April 17, 2011

I just arrived at the beach with my little sister and my parents (missing my two older siblings, sadly, Andrew & Lauren). Excited to explore and enjoy Seabrook Island in South Carolina, but most importantly, get a better tan than anyone else (highly unlikely).

It’s been so long since I’ve done nothing, and I’m excited about it. It’s hard to prepare myself to sit around and enjoy myself for a solid week. You ever experienced that? Where you get so flippin exhausted, and you’ve been doing so much, that you can’t imagine relaxing for more than 20 minutes? I just wish I had more time. I want to take a month or two like the Europeans do. ugh.

One thing I’m looking forward to is reading.

Here are the books I will be starting/finishing/re-reading in the next week —

I’m looking forward to also studying quite a bit of scripture. My goal is to read through most of Matthew and the gospels this week, looking more intently upon the scriptures that speak of these — “Kingdom of God(heaven), hell, salvation, restoration, “saved”, the end of days, etc…

I’m hoping to have some time to post a blog or two on here about my most recent convictions, realizations, and aspirations.

But for now, farewell from this lovely place :)
