Barack Obama will be sworn in…

Remember this:

Barack Obama is the next president, and we should honor him for his position.

Pray for him today as he speaks, that God would blow his mind and bring himself to Him.

I read an article in my local newspaper about a pastor who took a year to live the Bible as close to the letter as possible (that is, following Old Testament laws, taking Jesus’ teachings almost literally, etc). I wish I could remember the pastor’s name, but, he said something in there about how living like that led him to vote for Obama, because (paraphrased), ‘with the exception of his policies on abortion, Obama has the closest policies to Jesus’ teaching about the poor and (something else I don’t remember).’

    Something to take solace in.

Good to see your well wishes and prayers for our country’s new leader. I am convinced that God has already brought this man “to him” by the inclusion of all people, his manner, his words, and the hope he brings to us all that we can get through these tough times and be better on the other side.

Absolutely, Uncle Dave. I definitely believe that! :)
