Cleveland Snow & Things Coming Up

Man, Cleveland is so beautiful with the snow. Gah, it is so amazing!

It has been a great time. Hanging with my sister, Lauren, and meeting all of her friends, from Inlet and from the city. Several more days here, I’m going to miss it a lot.

Inlet has been an incredible experience, watching them dance and train and listening to Bill Wade’s wisdom. Filming has been going extremely well, doing interviews with the trainee’s today and tomorrow, and interview tomorrow evening with Bill Wade, Founder of Inlet Dance Theatre. I am really excited to get home and start editing a video telling about the trainee program and the vision Bill Wade has to train dancers and impact the community.

I will miss it, but all things come and go. Oh, and I’ll be back in a few weeks! My brother, Andrew, is moving to Portland, Oregon, mid-February, and he’ll be flying out of Cleveland. Then, after that, I’ll be back the beginning of April to see my sister and all those I’ve met here perform.

Things coming up:

- Filming another video for Arts In Action
- Work to pay bills
- Plans for Colombia trip and meeting with Jeff Andrews (OAF Web Designer) to plan and set a timeline for completing website and all media.
- Then, I head out for Colombia!

So what have you been doing?
Stephen

So today has been a relatively good day. Snow has melting some, not as much ice on the roads, and it is not below 20 degrees anymore…

We, my family, has a lot of time together tonight. An amazing meal by my mother, Anita. Fish, sweet potato casserole, and a yummy salad. One of my favorite meals in a while, beside last nights meal (chicken noodle casserole!!!! soooo good!).

Other things in my life, my path with God has been altered some… not in God’s, just in mine. I’ve not been at the place I need to be, and if you have read my blog, you know what I mean (such as this or this). God has really been working on me, letting me do the things I do, loving me still, and giving me mercy. I am so grateful for His love. I just hope I no longer take it for granted.

I know his direction for me, and the basic look of His heart in mine. I know the connections he has made for me with others, and what pleases him is what I want. I want his desires, his heart, his hands, his feet, his everything. That is the most important thing to me.

So now, I am going to get in the word’s of scripture, study them, keep praying, focusing, writing, loving in the best way I know, by giving of myself and being obedient to God’s commandments. That is the most important thing in this world: loving (God and others).

So as I close this night down, and head to bed, I hope and pray your lives are being so intentional to serve God. ‘God is Love” and encompasses all that is love. He is the most important.

Follow Him.

fonts,

taught to be bold,

taught to be fine,

taught to be original,

taken to the extreme,

to exemplify the simplicity,

of a word and a thought,

with a pen to a paper.

snow,

taught to be cold,

taught to be white,

taught to be told,

from the God above,

to the water of the sky,

with the weather of the night and day,

with simple acts of joy.

joy,

a result of writing and snow,

a result of the rest of the world,

seeing snow fall,

listening to writing in full,

learning to live in the joy,

that comes each day,

with the weather and the seasons,

and writers and thinkers,

let the snow fall,

let the writers grow,

to the Joy of the world,

across the land,

across the eyes,

across the soul.
