Dreams. Big Dreams.

Dream no small dream, for they have no power to move the hearts of men.
-Goethe
A dream. A big dream. Dreams of children. Vast dreams. Dreams not of sleep, but of waking, of going. Of sojourning and of purpose. Big dreams. Dreams that impact humanity. That impact the universe. Big dreams, huge dreams, dreams bigger than the brain itself. Not even just that big, but bigger than the mind of the earth. Bigger than the measurement of light.
They are not my dreams. They are Love’s dreams.
Dreams for what might be, what He wants, and what He wants to do in and through me to fulfill His dream – reconciliation.
And it is time for those dreams to become even more of a reality than yesterday. More of a reality than yesteryear.
I love this Dream.
WithOut Words … moving against the sex trade

WithOut Words … moving against the sex trade are artists compelled to express the atrocities of the global sex trade through dane artistry. They endeavor to serve as a visible voice for the oppressed and to inform and inspire audiences to take action on behalf of the enslaved. Specifically, they are crafting a collaborative, evening-length production that incorporate dance and theatre, photography and cinematography, narrative, digital media and original music to premier JUNE 2 THRU 5, 2011 at the nationally renowned Cleveland Public Theatre.
I was so blessed to be there in the beginning of creating this project with my sister, Lauren, and friends, Mikaela & Mackenzie. It has been so beautiful to see this project brought into existence and how many incredible things have happened through the process.

If you are in or close to the Cleveland area, PLEASE come out and join me for one of the evenings of this incredible performance by my dear friends and artists. This is the first time that the issue of the sex trade has been presented on stage and it is going to be incredible!
Her Name Is Kate

This little girls name is Kate. She is so precious and beautiful, and such an inspiration to so many, and has so much to look forward to in life.
But she has cancer. In June of 2009, she was diagnosed with brain cancer and ever since her and her beautiful family have been fighting for her life.

It breaks my heart to see such a precious child, created to bring joy and smiles and laughter and hope to so many around her, with such a terrible disease. That has not been lost, and never will be.
My photographer friend, Jannelle Althoff, took these photos while the family was in Hawaii on vacation before Kate’s Chemo started again (Helicopter Ride With Kate –> the post by Jannelle). Beautiful work, Jannelle. Thank you for what you do and for inspiring us all by your heart of compassion and love. My life has been forever changed by this little girls story.
You can follow Kate and her family on their website here — Pray For Kate.
You can read Kate and her families story and hear a beautiful song written for Kate by Audrey Assad. Please pray for her and her family, for her complete healing and for strength and courage for her parents as they continue to fight this horrible disease.
Thanks.
These Little Ones

If you haven’t experienced the affection that the Father feels for His children, in the physical and the spiritual, then you haven’t experience what life is all about.
For we are to be like these little ones, in faith and in freedom.
And we are to be to these little ones, what the Father has been to us.
