A Discussion on Rob Bell Controversial Book

From a discussion with my friend Ethan Davis over Rob Bells new controversial book –

“When we ask the wrong questions, we get the wrong answers.”

“We shouldn’t be asking, ‘Why would God send people to hell for eternal torment if he is a loving God?’ but instead, ‘Why would God come to earth to save us when we are disgusting, dirty, unfit, and completely unworthy of his grace and love, just because he decided to rescue us from death of our own choosing, and give us life through eternal Love.’”

This is an interesting thought, a thought I will be thinking about while I read Rob Bell’s new book, “Love Wins”. More thoughts to come on this.
